Collected: AJ03 from Upper Ordovician Shale in Nashville,
Tennessee, USA.

Estimated Age: about 450 million years old.

Comments: Scale Bar is 0.5 mm. Recovered from
thin silty shale between two limestone beds. Darkfield illuminaton
of conodont under oil immersion. Anterior end of element is intact
in this specimen. AJ03M03M4 was first attempt using Richiert scope
with Kodak MDS 100 camera. M5 was taken with JVC camera, and shows
best example of helix structures among lamina.
